A business by women. Vison, leadership, sustainability

Twelve stories of women-led sustainable entrepreneurship

A journey that began in September 2018, a journey aimed at discovering ideas that later became real entrepreneurial projects led by one or more women, in Italy and in the world. A real scouting of female enterprises, attentive to the environment and social innovation: the Milan-based NGO Istituto Oikos and Alleyoop - the multi-blog of Il Sole 24 dedicated to diversity - have joined forces to tell virtuous productive models that, although often remaining on the margins of more official narratives, have a positive impact in terms of environmental sustainability and social inclusion. Every month the editorial staff of Alleyoop published a new story, also discovered thanks to the contribution of readers who reported to the editorial staff and to Istituto Oikos realities far from the spotlight.
The result of this work is today recounted in the digital publication edited by Il Sole 24 Ore "A business by women. Vision, leadership, sustainability", which was presented Thursday, May 16th at 6 pm at the headquarters of Il Sole 24 Ore (via Monte Rosa 91, Milan). The opportunity to get to know some of the stories of change gathered in the ebook, through the protagonists' voices.

The publication on Alleyoop will continue until September 2019: follow the blog to learn every month a new story of how female determination and creativity have made the difference.

The initiative is part of the project of Istituto Oikos Makers of the Future. Citizenship practices responsible for activating young people in favour of sustainable and inclusive economy models funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
