On Wednesday, 6th June 2018 the narration about the construction of the community lodge Casa das Garças starting from Filippo Romano photo essay
During Milano Photo Week, on Wednsday 6th June 2018, Stecca 3.0 will host "In ascolto", en exhibition and discussion starting from Filippo Romano photo essay.
Among the exhibited photographs you will also see the shots that show the construction process of Casa das Garças, a lodge for the promotion of an inclusive and sustainable tourism on Ibo Island and among the communities around it. It was realized in collaboration with Architects Without Borders Italy thanks to the support of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, it is an environmental education centre, a place for travelers and students who love nature and want to protect it, a base camp for research activities across the Archipelago, realized in collaboration with both local and international universities.
"Working communities in Mozambique" is the title of the discussion about participatory design on Ibo Island. The event is on 6th June at 18.00 in De Castillia st. 26, Milan (room Paolo Fareri).
