For over 30 years, our work has focused on protecting endangered animals, preventing deforestation, and
combating marine plastic pollution. We safeguard Italy’s natural heritage and key biodiversity areas in
Tanzania, Mozambique, Lebanon and Southeast Asia.
We work alongside communities in the Global South to promote food security and economic development
while respecting natural resources. Social and economic development in harmony with nature can only happen through sharing, knowledge, and awareness.
Each of us can actively contribute to protecting the environment and building a sustainable, inclusive future for all.

All donations to Istituto Oikos are tax-deductible.
If you are an individual, you can:
- Deduct 30% of your donation from your gross tax, up to a maximum of €30,000 (Art. 83, paragraph 1, Legislative Decree 3 July 2017, No. 117);
- Deduct your donation from your net total income, up to 10% of your declared total income (Art. 83,
paragraph 2, Legislative Decree 3 July 2017, No. 117);
If you are a company, you can:
- Deduct donations from your business income up to €30,000 or 2% of declared business income (Art. 100, paragraph 2, letter h of Presidential Decree 917/86);
- Deduct donations from your net total income, up to 10% of your declared total income (Art. 83,
paragraph 2, Legislative Decree 3 July 2017, No. 117).
Tax benefits are not cumulative. Cash donations are not eligible for tax benefits.
