Call for tender - German partner

Germany, 08 March 2010. 

 

In the framework of the awarded EuropeAid/126341/C/ACT/Multi project ENERGY FOR LIFE: Development Education Campaign on the Critical Role of Renewable Energies for Poverty Reduction and Sustainable Development, and as mentioned in the project document, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sonnenenergie e.V. project partner is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced and qualified young researchers who would like to be considered for the provision of a research scholarship to conduct a study on the scientific and empiric evidences of links among REs and development. The research fellow is to conduct scientific research and analysis on the links among renewable energies and development in which RE best practice projects from various countries are to be identified, compiled and analysed as to show their feasibility, sustainability, and their social and economic impacts.

 

The Internship is to commence on 10 May 2010 for a period of 1 year.

 

Qualified researchers who would like to be considered in the invitation to tender should apply, via email to: energy4life@dgs.de or by mail at: Cranachstr. 5, 99 423 Weimar, Germany no later than 15H00 on the 19 of March 2010. Applicants are requested to send a letter of introduction accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae including practical experience in the field of RE or/and related applicable sector. Short listing will be conducted objectively based on technical qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to tender.
