Istituto Oikos’ activity in Latin America is based in Brazil, with a project aimed at the creation of three cooperatives of young people able to provide touristic and environmental services.

Youth unemployment is one of the main problems that plagues Brazilian society; Istituto Oikos tries to contribute to improve youth’s condition by strengthening their education and business skills.

The project aims at spreading the cultural, social and economic heritage that is essential to enable both an immediate income generation and a long-term sustainability of the business activities started thanks to Oikos.
