Food security
The diffusion of non-sustainable agricultural and zootechnical practices represents one of the main causes of environmental deterioration and poverty in the developing countries. Promoting sustainable agriculture, introducing new technologies for food conservation and facilitate the access at local markets are useful tools to ensure a healthy, safe and adequate food supply, to fight rural poverty and to protect the biodiversity and the environment.
