Climate change and energy
Human activities cause major changes in Earth’s climate. The most evident and alarming signs of the ongoing changes are the global warming, the rise of the ocean level, and the desertification. Istituto Oikos promotes renewable energy, clean technologies and sustainable lifestyle as bridge strategy between North and South, to improve energy efficiency and to reduce and compensate the gas emission and the greenhouse effect.
